Audit 3 Review

Over the past few weeks, the team here at Project Ver have been working on finalising work and cleaning up the repository in time for audit 3 presentation in Week 6.

To prepare for audit, the team set an internal deadline to have the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) ready for an in class live demonstration during Week 6 Audit. The goal of the MVP is to develop a working prototype that technically meets all project requirements, albeit with much room for improvement. While this goal placed significant pressures on hardware development and software implementation. This ambitious schedule would ensure that the team could focus our efforts on further feature implementation and hardware development before stakeholder testing in the mid semester break.

Audit 3 was very successful, and we are proud to say that the MVP was operational for the audit 3 presentation. The feedback we received following the audit was incredibly positive. Over the coming weeks we will be focusing on improving the following points raised in our feedback:

  • Improving readability of the team repository (this includes removing duplicates, merging documentation where possible, moving results from excel sheets into reader friendly documents)

  • Developing a document that walks through all hardware decisions and the subsequent design developments

  • Un-archiving the original risk register to monitor greater project risks alongside the decision log

  • Reaching out to non-user stakeholders to get final inputs and recommendations regarding device implementation

  • Developing a testing, validation and verification document prior to stakeholder A/B testing in project week 27 & 28.
